MacBook Pro's NVIDIA Chipsets Can Support Dual GPU and 8GB RAM

Hybrid Power - which allows your to switch from one GPU to the other for better performance vs battery life. Apple's MacBook Pros do support this feature but presently require you to log out.
GeForce Boost - this is the feature that allows both GPUs to run simultaneously to provide even better performance (and presumably, even less battery life).

Se isto for verdade finalmente começo a ver grandes vantagens em ter um mbpro dos novos.

On (Windows Vista) notebooks with switchable graphics from Intel you don’t have to log out and log back in order to switch modes. Why is that the case with Nvidia’s graphics on the Apple MacBook Pro?

The hardware is capable of switching between integrated and discrete on the fly and it’s available today on the Window platform. It is not there today with Apple, but in some of our upcoming designs and in our hybrid SLI designs you can have both chips work together. One may not be the same power as the other but we can manage the SLI so it gives you a net boost, what we call a GeForce boost. That isn’t here now but that is coming in the future.

Directamente da boca da Nvidia...

Acho que já há uma thread a falar sobre isto.

É possível no Windows estar a jogar um jogo qualquer em DirectX e mudar de gráfica? :D
