MarcoPolo brings context-aware computing to your portable Mac computer. It allows your computer to determine its context through gathering evidence from your environment (evidence sources), using flexible rule-based fuzzy matching to make an educated guess (rules), and then performing arbitrary actions upon changing context (actions).

MarcoPolo's concept of contexts is a generalisation of a location, and encompasses more than just where your computer is. A context might represent what you are doing, or what else is going on around you.

Testei no contexto do WiFi.

Se é só para usar diferentes networks para diferentes locations o macosx já faz isso nativamente há muito tempo e bem.

A mim o Leopard nunca mudou as locations automaticamente assim que me ligava a uma diferente network, tinha sempre que ir ao menu da maça e mudar a location.

Quanto ao software, é possivel ele alterar automaticamente as proxys em conformidade com a rede a q estejamos conectados?

Já tinha lido. Daí a ter dito "se é só para isso".

E sim, tens de mudar no menu location, nada de grave. Grave era mudar ips e dns à mão.
