Instalei o jogo Savage 2, com o pack para linux.
Tenho o kubunto 8.4, instalei facilmente o jogo, mas ao abrir ele começa a carregar mas falha. Tentei iniciar pela consola, mas diz que falta o OpenGL 2.1.
Onde posso arranjar, como instalar?
 
Por acaso também instalei recentemente esse jogo e não tive qualquer problema a corrê-lo. Isto em Ubuntu 8.10.

A tua placa gráfica cumpre os requisitos mínimos? É onboard ou dedicada?
Estás a usar os drivers open source ou os proprietários?

Tenho ideia que os drivers open source da Intel só suportam até ao OpenGL 1.5.

Agora ao tentar iniciar o Savage já não fala em openGl mas aparece:

Para actualizares o software usa utiliza o aptitude preferencialmente, como estas a usar o KDE tens o kpackage em "modo gráfico".

Quanto a configuração do driver procura no ficheiro de configuração do xorg... Experimenta depois de actualizares,,,

dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg doesn't ask for the driver because it figures this out by itself.

It seems like the Debian developers have changed the way "dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg" works. There are many posts in various Ubuntu and Debian forums complaining about this because it doesn't seem like the auto detection always works well.
