CD Projekt, the minds behind The Witcher, which was released on PC late last year seem to be
searching for a PS3 programmer. The candidates for the position apparently need “
Practical knowledge of programming games for PS3, proven with at least 1 successfully completed project” and also
“a great will to create games of the world’s best top.” We know that is not perfect English, but we’ll forgive them as we can speak even less comprehensible Polish.
While it is not official it is likely the company could be looking these programmers to help in porting The Witcher to the PS3 at a later date. Although, they could also be looking for programmers to help develop a new game for the platform too.
If you have not already experienced the joys of The Witcher then you might be interested to hear that Andy called it “
a great example of the genre and a game that’s great to lose yourself in” in
his review last year. We think that means it is good.
