Depende da maneira como vires as coisas, diria. Os componentes parecem ser de qualidade, pelo que deverá ser uma placa estável e aguentar um certo OC sem problemas.
Para mais, para quem não tem ou não quer usar 2x PCIe x16 é a única maneira de dispôr de toda a largura de banda.
Se vai ter sucesso não sei, mas existe um pequeno mercado onde tem razão de ser.

Já saiu a review da Powercolor HD6870x2, bate nas calmas a GTX580, a Fan e o consumo é que não foi um destaque!

É uma óptimo VGA e assenta bem onde está.Temperaturas nada de especial,à là reference cooler,e o barulho tá bastante tolerável,no meio da tabela.O preço é que pronto,pelo menos compensa ser mais cara que a GTX580.
E ainda tem a possibilida de crossfire com Nvidia ou outro ATI de série diferente.
O único problema(para alguns) seria o consumo.
