Control Dev Diary Explores the Gameplay Vision for the Upcoming Sci-Fi Adventure

Remedy has released the second Dev Diary for Control introducing players to the gameplay of the upcoming sci-fi thriller which will be heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC sometime in 2019.

The latest Dev Dairy gives us a breakdown of how spaces in Control get shaped around the player and how there are a lot of challenges to discover when exploring these places. The gameplay works hand in hand with the narrative of Control where it focuses more on environmental storytelling and is less cinematic compared to previous Remedy games too.

Rather then there being just the traditional type of levels that players can systematically go through, there will be quite a bit of optional content which takes a deeper dive into the lore of the world. This mechanic plays towards the theme of control as it is literally giving the player more control over how the narrative will be driven.

You can check out the full dev diary below for Control which is heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC sometime in 2019.

Hmmm então o core gameplay do jogo é a gravity gun to HF2 V2.0 mas sem a gravity gun do HF2.

Story telling incorporated in gameplay -> Devia ser sempre assim :D more immersion.

Aboard the hype train :D

Remedy Enlists Two Renowned Composers For Control's Score

Remedy has announced that it has enlisted the services of two renowned composers for Control's score, creating a "unique blend of orchestral and electronic arrangements" and "eerie compositions" for the Alan Wake and Quantum Break developer's upcoming telekinetic supernatural action game.

Control will benefit from the expertise and experience of Martin Stig Andersen, whose previous credits include INSIDE and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and the creepiness inherent in the work of BAFTA-nominated composer Petri Alanko, the man behind the music in both Alan Wake and Quantum Break.

"I couldn't imagine a better match for Control than Petri Alanko and Martin Stig Andersen. Martin's deep and moody style combined with the unique energy of Petri Alanko elevates the end result into something special," said Game Director Mikael Kasurinen. "While both capture the tone of the experience, they approach it from different perspectives, complementing each other beautifully."

Together, Andersen and Alanko are formulating "an otherworldly soundscape" to frame the mysterious world of Control, mirroring the game's dynamic gameplay, surrealism, and intense action. Control will be heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on 27th August 2019.
