Time to Kick Some Demon Ass

Years have passed since the events of Devil May Cry 4, and a lot has happened. Young demon hunter Nero has lost hisDevil Bringerdemon arm… but hey! He’s now heading his own branch of the demon-hunting businessDevil May Cry. To make up for that lost arm, and keep his style rankings up, he’s enlisted the help of expert craftswoman Nico, a brand new character in the series, to lend a hand and build different types of prosthetic arms that unlock new badass combat abilities and devastating powers.

The Demonic Invasion Begins

A new demonic invasion has begun with the seeds of a demon tree being sown in Red Grave City. Now fully equipped with his trusty Red Queen and Blue Rose, and a new arsenal of rad robot hands thanks to his partner Nico, Nero must rise up to this new impossible task. With such insane amount of energy and destruction emanating from this surprise invasion, the stage is now set for the latest chapter of the “Sons of Sparda” saga.

However, Nero is not alone in this fight. Our gameplay announcement trailer above focuses on Nero and his new set of tricks, butDevil May Cry 5will feature 3 playable characters, with their own unique over-the-top playstyles and flair.

Devil May Cry 5 Rumours Gain Steam as Capcom Registers Domain

With Devil May Cry 5 rumours floating around for some time now, something a little more substantial has started to solidify around a potential return for Dante and the gang, with Capcom seemingly registering a new devilmaycry5.com domain, suggesting that a reveal could be on the horizon.

Created via the Onamae domain registrar, the same registrar that Capcom used to create domains for its biggest titles including Monster Hunter: World and Resident Evil 7: biohazard, the listing does seem to hint that DMC 5 could make an appearance at E3 2018 this weekend. Although this does beg the question: what about DmC 2?

Ninja Theory's DmC managed to reignite the series brilliantly back in January 2013, even gaining a Definitive Edition remaster for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2015. So if the next DMC is indeed Devil May Cry 5, you'd have to assume that the rebooted DmC series may have been abandoned altogether, which would be a great shame.

For now, of course, this is pure speculation and rumour, and could therefore turn out to be complete and utter demon's bollocks. All (or possibly nothing) will be revealed when E3 rolls around in just a few days.

Se tiver o gameplay um pouco mais refinado do dmc4, uma estória como a do dmc3 e o Vergil, é day one. O dmc4 apenas pecou pelo facto de a meio do jogo andarmos a repetir os níveis e bosses onde apenas mudava a personagem, mas do nero não gostei muito, Dante e Vergil all the way.
 
Não era bem aquilo que estava à espera...E Nero novamente como protagonista? Será que eles não perceberam que nós todos gostamos mais do dante?

Não é pelo Nero que não deviam colocar 5 à frente, até porque ele já esteve no 4, mas por se tratar de algo novo, num ambiente futurista com um braço robô...O braço demoníaco não era bom o suficiente? Ainda pensei que era o vergil no incio, mas quando vi a pistola...A par do Dante o Vergil é a melhor personagem e apenas teve destaque no DMC3, o que é uma pena.
 
O Dante aparece no final do trailer a andar de mota, o que deixa antever que será uma situação semelhante ao DMC4, em que a determinada altura, poderemos controlar o Dante.

Em qualquer dos casos, gostei bastante do que vi, e gostei ainda mais da clara influência do DmC da Ninja Theory neste DMC5.
 
Desde que nao seja a repetir os mesmos niveis com o dante e com o nero. Tem algumas influencias do DmC o que nao e mau de todo.
Ainda somos capazes de ver Bayo 3 e DMC 5 no mesmo ano

Sou só eu que gosta mais do old school dmc? Preferia uma sequela do dmc4 com Vergil aparecer do estilo: i am your father, para o Nero.
 
@ric7 Isso pode acontecer neste DMC5. Afinal de contas, alguém cortou o braço ao Nero. Pode ter sido o Vergil.

A grande maioria dos fãs quer o mesmo, mas eles continuam a apostar nisto.
Não sou fã do Nero nem desta vibe à DmC (mais valia chamarem-lhe DmC 2 em vez de DMC 5).

De qualquer das formas, como grande fã da série que sou, devo acabar por o comprar (quando já será outra questão que o gameplay ajudará a responder).
