It is great that we are getting actual product names and specs for Ponte Vecchio. Intel said that it will not have a Top500 linpack run for SC22 in Dallas next week with Aurora, but it does have a test system installed. A few things are worth noting here. First, the industry is moving towards the XPU design which is Falcon Shores for Intel. We already covered that in our Intel Falcon Shores XPU Update at SC22 piece. Still, current computing models will be around for some time. Second, the PCIe form factor is proving challenging for GPUs as power and cooling requirements increase. PCIe is easy to deploy in standard servers, but it is not ready for the future.

Se estou a perceber bem, a funcionalidade do "Rambo Tile" é mais ou menos igual ao VCache da AMD. Parece ser "apenas" um chip com SRAM. Neste caso é usado para L2, mas até pelo tamanho, imagino que possa ser usado como L3 em processadores "tradicionais".
Agora a questão é, quando é que isto irá aparecer no mercado consumidor? :)

Expliquei-me mal. :) Referia-me aquele "Rambo Tile". Isto é, quando é que veremos estes chiplets com SRAM em GPUs (Pelo menos os integrados) e CPUs Intel do mercado consumidor.
O Ponte Vecchio e o Rialto Bridge não vão aparecer no mercado consumidor.

Veremos o potencial do GPU em si, A770 16GB vai ser comparada ao rival msi rtx 3060 12GB aero itx oc em gaming 1080p 144hz em ryzen 5 5600x tb vou testar numa TV 4k.
