Xbox Microsoft Promises More New Games for E3

Despite unveiling several new titles this year, Microsoft says it will announce even more next month at E3.

"We have not announced all of our line-up yet for 2008 but will provide more details at E3 next month," said Aaron Greenberg, director of Xbox 360 product management, in an email sent to GamePro on Thursday.

Last month, Microsoft announced and confirmed several new games for release on Xbox 360 this fall, including Gears of War 2, Too Human, Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise, Fable 2, and Banjo and Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.

In addition to the above five games, Greenberg named Infinite Undiscovery, Fallout 3, Madden NFL 2009, and the exclusive (though possibly delayed) Grand Theft Auto IV downloadable content, when asked what gamers should be excited for this holiday.

"Xbox 360 will continue to be the home to blockbuster games and the most exclusives," Greenberg added. "By the end of the year we will have over 1,000 games available for Xbox 360, which will be 2-3 times more than any other platform."

Mas por vezes a E3 serve apenas para mostrar jogos já anunciados. O que se depreende é que vão anunciar novos jogos.

É esperar para ver.

Eles vão é anunciar jogos, ja anuciados pelas 3ª Party Do tipo, Fallout3, etc, etc! Não vai aparecer por artes magicas supressas "bombasticas" ate porque a Microsoft não sabe guardar um segredo... So espero da E3 mais um Bring it Home e com demos! Isso é o que quero.

IGN's Top 10 Microsoft E3 Reveals (In Their Dreams)

Microsoft is scheduled to kick off this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo with a press conference on Monday, July 14. Needless to say, expectations are high. The company needs to come out with guns blazing to set the tone for the rest of the week. After last year's showing, we thought MS might like a little help planning this one out. If you recall, the last time MS took gaming's biggest stage it started out strong with a live performance of the Halo theme song and some Rock Band. Then it took a turn for the worse with "big" announcements of Scene It! and Viva Piñata: Party Animals and an appearance by our dawg, Jeff Bell. Family fun is all well and good, but this is E3. We want excitement and instant gratification. We want these 10 games to be featured prominently. So if you're reading MS, this one's for you.

Eu só quero MESMO saber do próximo Halo, Forza 3, Gears of War 2 e o FIFA 09...tudo o q vier a mais com qualidade é bem vindo

E com o catálogo de jogos da 360 actual, acho q vou conseguir "sobreviver" à ausência desses títulos, pena n ter mais tempo (€)

MGS mesmo nao sendo o 4 era excelente, até o que mais queria era mesmo os 3 primeiros com motor grafico novo isso é q ia ser maravilhoso.
Uma demo do BIA tambem era porreiro e ja agora do Velvet Assassin porque estou com curiosidade sobre jogo.

Doom 4 Coming To E3, Not To PS3?

From E3.net: "Doom 4 has quite a legacy to live up to. Doom certainly wasn't the first successful FPS, but it is definitely one of the most influential. Follow-ups Doom II: Hell on Earth and Doom 3, as well as 3's expansion pack Resurrection of Evil, only continued to satisfy fan expectations. With id Software co-founder and Doom's architect John Carmack on board, the coming fourth adventure in the series will hopefully be the best one yet."

Alan Wake Will be Shown At E3

Alan Wake has been "coming soon" to the Xbox 360 since before the console even launched. Billed as a "psychological action thriller" which finds its roots in dramatic television, the story follows the titular horror novelist as he copes with the sudden disappearance of his fiancée. Plagued by writer's block and an inability to sleep, Wake sequesters himself at a clinic in the small town of Bright Falls, Washington. Terrifying nightmares give the writer fresh inspiration, but things take a turn for the sinister when the horrific visions begin to manifest in his waking life.

MGS isso era o que a IGN "sonha", mas claro e muito DIIIFIIICILLL de acontecer, ouvi ai uns rumores acerca do DOOM e do novo Duke Nukem serem PC/X360 exclusives andava ai a procurar a fonte mas ja n encontro :S

Tendo em conta que o MGS4 ainda nem chegou aos 1.8 milhões de cópias vendidas, provavelmente ainda sai multiplataforma pra compensar o investimento no jogo, visto que as vendas para os lados da PS3 não andam famosas.

A Konami nunca vai conseguir o retorno dos €€€ gastos na produção de MGS se não o editar em mais plataformas, para alem da PS3. Simplesmente a consola ainda não consegue vender em numeros grandes, comparado com a concorrencia os seus "exclusivos". São poucos aqueles que passam de 1 milhão, e ainda menos os q conseguem atingir os 2 milhões.

Coisa que a X360 consegue facilmente vender em pouco tempo. Porque será?
