Discussão [TESTE] Será que o meu ISP pratica TS?

Acho um bocado estranho os testes terem sucesso em todos os casos (sucesso no teste, não no resultado)... isto tendo em conta que a maioria da malta, incluindo eu, estão atrás de um router e o teste afirma fazer testes em portas fechadas na maioria dos routers.
Alguém gostaria de comentar?

Era o que esperava. Sempre tive a mesma velocidade com bittorrent que com http, não é muito alta, mas pode ser limitada pelo servidor.

Atenção que estou a ver aí testes em que vocês têm velocidades de http de 20 kbps e bittorrent também 20 kbps, apesar do teste indicar que está tudo OK, para mim não diz nada. O que ele faz é comparar as duas velocidades se estão as duas muito baixas, nada se pode concluir. Desliguei o p2p antes de fazerem o teste, senão viciam o resultado...

EDIT: (offtopic) vocês meteram as cores à mão ou dá para copiar para aqui logo com cores?

estes testes de pouco valem. diz que nao sofro de TS, mas o certo é que sao agora 2 da manha e a torneira abriu estou a sacar P2P ao maximo da ligaçao, ate agora estava a 60kb....

No meu caso, isso não se aplica porque tenho o modem ligado directo, e mesmo assim obteve aqueles grandes valores. :004:

O que estou a dizer é que se a ligação já está saturada por sí própria, não se vai sentir grande diferença se houver TS ou não. Eles podem limitar o p2p por velocidade/protocolo e o limite estar acima das velocidades que aquele user apresentou (p2p/http).

Tvtel @ Porto..weird.. é que desde que vim de férias do natal isto tem andado impossivel nos torrents, mas nos ultimos dois dias melhorou :D
 
johnnydualer @ Confirmo a TVTEL anda a fazer TS. A mim por exemplo é sempre no meia da tarde / fim do dia e só nos downloads. Não sei por viver no grande Porto onde provavelmente existe muitos clientes e depois quando chegam a casa e vão todos para net isto arras-te .. xD Eles no site dizem que garantem a velocidade contratada independemente disso mas a verdade é que não é assim. Espero que melhores tempos vêem pois começo a ficar disuluido com tvtel que em tempos prestou um serviço de qualidade.
