VDDC = 1.2120 V
We discussed this internally and the fan issue (fan2 @100%) is most likely caused by the sticker.
Many fans can withstand the removal of the sticker without any damage but a small amount of fans seem to get damaged.
Our production has already stopped using these stickers.
So we recommend all users that suffer from this issue to return the card to the point of purchase for warranty service.
Difference of the Windforce:
different cooler style (Windforce plastic, G1 metal), because of the different used materials also slightly different colour
different clock/boost speeds (G1 faster, may have more selected chips)
only 4 heatpipes (G1 8)
no backplate!
Windforce is 2mm shorter
different package
different fan stickers

I don´t think this has anything to do with the sticker.
I got my card replaced yesterday and the new card works perfectly, first thing I did was started Afterburner and noticed that I could set the fanspeed to manuall and adjust it, I could not do this with the first card.
I think this is a manufacturing problem, plain and simple, someone messed up when installing the fans.
If this is a mechanical issue, why does one of the fans (the one that I didn't pull the sticker off of) continue to spin at max speed after ten minutes of idling on the desktop? Shouldn't the card have cooled down enough to not require the fan and thus shut it off?
Edit: Should've also mentioned that the HWMonitor and GPU-Z reported it at around 35 degrees C.
