BenQ XL2420T/XL2420TX
These two 24-inch units have LED-backlit TN panels with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 2ms GTG response time, a 120Hz refresh rate, a typical brightness of 350 cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 (12,000,000:1 DCR), a three-power USB hub, and D-Sub, DVI, HDMI (x 2) and DisplayPort 1.2 inputs.
BenQ's creations also boasts a stand enabling height adjustment and horizontal/vertical turning, the eQualizer color engine technology which brightens dark areas without over-exposing the rest of the scene, and the Display Mode and Smart Scaling functions which enable users to change their monitor view from 17" (4:3), 19" (4:3), 19"W (16:9), 21.5" (16:9), 22"W (16:10), 23"W (16:9) to 24"W (16:9). Moreover, you get two FPS Modes which are specially-tuned settings for games (in this case Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike Source), and can access the Game Mode Loader, an online service for storing gaming presets.
The XL2420T and XL2420TX come bundled with the S Switch remote control that lets people change OSD settings and modes. As mentioned, both monitors support Nvidia's 3D Vision 2 technology but the XL2420TX goes even further and has a built-in IR emitter and includes a pair of 3D glasses.
The XL2420T and XL2420TX are set to go on sale this month but we only found the XL2420T listed. It's on pre-order priced as low as €314.
