The PSP isn't Star Wars proof
Like many of you I'm a giant geek. So I scored midnight tickets for Episode 3 tonight and got there around 7 to brave the line and to get a good seat. The crowd was already immense, and I found myself hanging out with a guy dressed like Obi-Wan showing off his hand made saber while I tried desperately to find someone else to make eye contact with.
Finally I whipped out my PSP and started playing Wipeout, only to have the bright idea to start searching for wireless games while going through my UMDs. There were a ton of games going. I joined a few and soon we had a 10 person PSP WAN going in line. It was great, I was playing Twisted Metal against a good crowd, and everyone was loud and into it.
Unfortunately using the wireless aspect of the PSP uses up the battery quicker than we realized. One after another our systems zipped out, until mine finally gave me the dreaded no battery signal and died a terrible death. At that point I had two hours until the movie started. I was forced to read! Like, a book!
Sony, you must release either a longer lasting battery NOW or at least a battery pack solution that doesn't entail hooking up a brick of AAs to my system. If you can't get me through the line at Star Wars, you're worthless to me.
Help me Ken Kuturagi, you're my only hope
