Temos X800XL vs 6800GT isso é para dizer o quê? Que a X800XL é superior? Keep dreaming...
A 6600GT anda a par com a X800GT que saiu o quê? 1 ano, 1 ano e meio depois?
X800GTO vs 6800?
X800 GTO² a fazer frente à 6800GT/Ultra?
Postas de pescada, yeah, you've heard of them...

http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/chipsets/display/20050918220107.html
http://www.vr-zone.com/index.cgi?i=2675&s=1Intel has placed orders for PCIe-enabled RC410 chips from ATI in order to maintain its supply of 915-based motherboards as the chip giant is reportedly to phase out its 865 and 915PL/GL chipsets in the fourth quarter and exit the entry-level chipset marke. Intel may purchase entry-level chipsets, mainly the 661FX from SiS for its 865-based entry-level motherboards. Intel may also include SiS’ 661GX chipsets for its motherboards. Intel may purchase a combined volume of 1.5 million chipsets from ATI and SiS per month, with shipments to start in October this year.
MOST OF our colleagues have already reported that the Radeon X1800XT will be shipped at 600MHz core and 1400MHz memory, but we have to say that we always used 600+ and 1400+ numbers. It turns out that there is aheadroom to clock this chip even faster.
ATI still hasn't made the final decision of the speed of its flagship Radeon X1800 XT card but it will be faster than the anticipated 600MHz core and 1400MHz memory.
Such cards might not be in the stores at launch date, the plan is to have them two to three weeks after the launch, but ATI will hace X1800XL cards at the time of its announcements.
Nvidia release 80 driver should increase the speed for the current G70, Geforce 7800GTX generation and will put some more pressure on ATI. So ATI kind of can clock faster and we already reported that ATI chip can work at even 700+ MHz clock but we don't think that yields will be good at these speeds.
Whatever happens, it has to end up faster than G70 - that is the plan but as usual Nvidia will do something to respond. It won't be the G70 Ultra but it might be a new card at 90 nanometres. We don't think Nvidia will announce that card in Q4, it's more likely that we will see a card to top the Geforce 7800GTX sometime in 2005. Things are heating up. µ
ATI WAS HEAVILY criticised for its lack of a mainstream board for its dual graphic card combo known as Crossfire.
At the current generation you can only expect to have R430, Radeon X800XL or R480 based Radeon X850XT cards but no mainstream support.
You can use eight pipelines circa $150 priced Radeon X800GT but you need to match it with $300 Radeon X800XL card and that kind of doesn't make any sense.
In the next generation, ATI didn't have any choice other than to offer Crossfire at around the $200 mark. That's how Radeon X1600XL Crossfire edition will be fledged. This card will come few weeks after the launch but should be available for Santa Claus to pop something into your stockings.
The target clock speed for these cards is 600MHz core and 1400MHz memory, but they will use a 128 bit wide memory controller. Otherwise such things would end up very close to high end R520 chips.
The cards can come as DVI, DVI and VIVO but we are not sure about ATI's final decision. It seems that ATI will again control the production, so ATI is finally to get sub $199 per Crossfire, and it kind of makes sense to do that. µ
